Murdered Couple Lisa Straub and Johnny Clarke: Who knew?

A major investigation into why and who killed Lisa Straub and Johnny Clarke in Springfield township is underway. Investigators discovered white baggie pieces, a light blue lighter and a Ziploc bag on the kitchen floor. In the home of Lisa Straub on various kitchen countertops a digital scale, two knives and central security documents were found.

The list of collected evidence goes on, including a key with 5-4-4 stamped on it under the body of Lisa Straub. The items were seized -- taken as evidence -- during a search of the home owned by Lisa Straub's parents. Throughout the house, they gathered DNA swabs.

The jurors will be challenged to decide whether 19-year-old John Odgren, then a 16-year-old special needs student, was insane at the time he killed a 15-year-old student, James F. Alenson, with a carving knife in a bathroom at Lincoln-Sudbury High School in 2007. Though Odgren was a juvenile at the time of the killing he will be tried and sentenced as an adult. The victim was James F. Alenson, a freshman, and only 15 yrs old. He was said to be an A-student who tried to avoid trouble.

The defense will give evidence that John Odgren’s suffered a severe and lifelong mental illness. John Odgren was long ago diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, an autism-like disorder, plus attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression and anxiety. Jim Leyritz Not Guily Manslaughter Charge

After less than an hour of deliberations jurors agreed on the verdict of not guilty for former World Series hero Jim Leyritz on the charge of manslaughter. The charge of DUI would not be so easy to reach a decision they all agreed on. One female juror held out against the other five male jurors, wanting a full acquittal. Finally she gave in and the verdict Guilty of misdemeanor DUI for former World Series hero Jim Leyritz was announced. Leyritz, was charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter while driving under the influence after a car collision in 2007 killed 30-year-old Fredia Veitch.

Zahra Baker Found

North Carolina authorities have confirmed Zahra Baker found. The search resulted in the body of little Zahra Baker found. While its early in testing of the partial remains found, the results thus far indicate the remains are hers.

Zahara Baker, who struck a cord in the hearts of many across the world, was reported missing October 9. The little girl defeated childhood cancer though was left minus a leg in addition to already being hearing impaired.

Zahra Baker’s mother claims Adam Baker, the girl’s father, brought Zahra to the United States from Australia without her knowledge shortly after birth.
