Murderer Granted Parole

If you live Orange County California, you will soon have a new neighbor. Anthony Perez is serving a 15 years to life sentence for a murder related to gang activity and he is being granted parole.
The decision was made in an appeals court and was made up of the following three judges;
Raymond J. Ikola
David G. Sills
Richard M. Aronson
The decision voids Governor Arnold Schwarzenneger's decision last year to reverse the parole of Anthony Perez and keep him behind bars. The judges believe Perez is no longer a danger to society. That belief is based on Perez participating with alcoholics anonymous and obtaining 30 college credits.
The Santa Ana Police Department and the Orange County District Attorney's office both opposed Perez's release, citing his juvenile history of crimes
