Zahra Baker Found

North Carolina authorities have confirmed Zahra Baker found. The search resulted in the body of little Zahra Baker found. While its early in testing of the partial remains found, the results thus far indicate the remains are hers.

Zahara Baker, who struck a cord in the hearts of many across the world, was reported missing October 9. The little girl defeated childhood cancer though was left minus a leg in addition to already being hearing impaired.

Zahra Baker’s mother claims Adam Baker, the girl’s father, brought Zahra to the United States from Australia without her knowledge shortly after birth.

Kidnappings In Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City police have released a sketch of a man they believe kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl on Friday.

Master Sgt. Gary Knight said the victim was walking near the intersection of NW 16 and N Klein Avenue when the suspect forced her into a car and drove her to a nearby location, where he sexually assaulted her. He then drove her back to her home and released her.

Suspect car is a newer model tan car with a tan interior.Suspect last seen wearing a red T-shirt, red baseball cap, blue jeans, dark sunglasses and black tennis shoes.

Oklahom City suspect sketc release

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police released a sketch of the suspect  in a recent  abduction and sexual assaults of children in the area.

Officers said a 12-year-old child was kidnapped at gun point near Taft Middle School on Friday. At that point she was sexually assaulted and released.

Police in Oklahao City said they believe is not an isolated event, one in April and the other in September may be related. The girls told police in all three cases they were taken, walking either to or from school.

Brian David Mitchell and his accomplice, wife Wanda Eileen Barzee, are finally standing trial for kidnapping Elizabeth Smart .Caught in 2003, the impending trial has been postponed by an abundant series of legal entanglements, some stemming from efforts to get Brian David Mitchelldetermined too mentally unsound to stand trial.

During yesterday's commencement of picking the jury Brian David Mitchell began vocalizing hymns for some 30 minutes until the honorable Kimball had had enough and ordered Brian David Mitchell separated to a different room.
